2nd project meeting under the GIVE project and the 1st Focus Group: Cross-Industrial collaboration meeting help on the 27 and 28 of June 2018, Cluj, Romania.

The overall goal of the 1st Focus Group was to identify a representative number of new or radically improved crosscutting products/services/processes based on which further needs can be analyzed and new market opportunities explored.
A complex, yet effective design thinking methodology was applied during the meeting which allowed for participants to achieve the best possible results taking into consideration the project objectives and deliverables, but also to raise its impact, as well as to put the basis for the multiplication of results.
The main outcomes and results of the focus group analysis resulted with prioritizing four main cluster and sub-cluster categories of key concepts:

1. INDUSTRY 4.0
• Smart factories
• Connected, smart production

2. SMART, GREEN ECOSYSTEMS,
• Smart green mobility
• Smart, green cars
• Smart cities, passive buildings

3. CIRCULAR, GREEN PRODUCTION
4. SMART IT INFRASTRUCTURES

By the end, participants were able to generate a series of 12 ideas for radically improved products, services and processes in technological cross-sectoral niches. These will be later on further explored for their cross-industry and cross-border collaboration potential.
