Albanian IT Process Improvement and Certification Program, (2008 – 2010)
The program was implemented in collaboration with GIZ ORF, European Software Institute Center Eastern Europe (based in Bulgaria), and Albanian IT Association (AITA).
AITA was seriously committed on promoting regional and international standards for a better management of companies in the information technology sector, particularly among the AITA member companies.
Trainings were conducted such as:
- Introduction to CMMI” course
- “IT Mark Overview”
The project supported 2 member companies of AITA (DM Consulting Services , Infosoft SD) working in the field of software development and service delivery who also were awarded with the certification.
This activity was part of a regional project to promote quality management and IT standards in the region.

The program was implemented in collaboration with Rritje Albania, European Software Institute Center Eastern Europe (based in Bulgaria), USAID’s Regional Competitiveness Initiative (RCI) and Albanian IT Association (AITA).
The project supported 5 member companies of AITA (DM Consulting Services , Infosoft SD, ikubInfoSoft, Tetra, and Intech Solutions) working in the field of software development and service delivery. They all managed to take the IT Mark Certification, while Infosoft SD was upgraded to Premium, and DM Consulting was awarded with IT Mark and CMMI for services.

This two-day course on How to Organize Marketing for Export Services & Products was essential for businesses who wanted to market their IT products and services abroad to a new audience and who wanted to create new exporting opportunities.
