The first Norway – Albania forum focused on Energy and ICT was held at the premises of the Statkraft Company in Oslo on November 14th 2011, gathered Norwegian and Albanian businessmen from the two sectors with the ultimate aim of creating a platform for exchange and presentation of opportunities that exist for development of cooperation between Norway and Albania and promoting inter-sector cooperation between Energy-ICT sector. Organized by INTPOW (organization that promotes renewable energy in Norway) and IKT Norge (Association of Information Technology and Communications of Norway), the forum highlighted the special intersectional cooperation of Energy-ICT. The example that comes from Norway in this regard is excellent. The energy sector in this developed country is one of the leading providers for project opportunities for ICT sector. Since this forum, AITA has worked specifically in terms of discussing about the initiation of joint efforts with Norwegian partners for projects that could be implemented in Albania and which could bring together companies from Norway and Albania in the of ICT sector.
