AEP Seminar, March 27th, 2014

AEP is a project undertaken by representative bodies from Norway, Macedonia, Albania (partnering AITA, etc.) and Kosovo. The project develops under HERD: Programme in Higher Education, Research and Development in the Western Balkans 2011-2014, developed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The overall aim of the HERD Programme is to contribute to economic growth and social development through increased cooperation in higher education and research and development in the Western Balkans.
The aim of the AEP project is to facilitate (1) academic exchange between the host country, Norway and the MAK (Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo) countries and (2) capacity building in the MAK countries.
AITA is the project manager for Albania while AITA member companies will directly benefit from the opportunity to receive specialized staff that will work for them as interns and will bring theoretical and practical knowledge gained in Norway. The member companies could in middle-term also benefit from the improved curriculum in the branch of Applied Informatics at the Faculty of Economics at University of Tirana.
